Job Responsibilities / Job Brief
- Handle license applications, regulatory filings and reports (HK and US)
- Conduct monitoring and surveillance of trading activities to detect and prevent market abuse, insider trading and other violations
- Investigate and resolve alerts generated by trade surveillance systems, and escalate any potential issues to the appropriate stakeholders
- Work on regional projects including system UAT, new investment models discussion, or system development
- Conduct or assist with ad-hoc inspections and regulatory requests
Requirements
- University graduate with major in Business, Finance, Law or Computer Science;
- At least 2 years of working experience, preferably in compliance function
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to details
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines
- Proactive in identifying risks and proposing solutions. Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite Excel, Bloomberg, Python
- Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese; Japanese is a plus.
